The Lincoln Crypto Token (LIC) was inspired by Lincoln 1943 pennies minted during World War II following approval by Congress to temporarily change the composition of the 1 cent coin due to copper shortage. To tackle the global climate emergency, LIC is a digital asset designed to become the preferred crypto currency in support to transactions worldwide while raising awareness on climate issues and creating proceeds to combat climate change. Its label, The Climate Times Penny makes of LIC both a crypto currency and a tool for climate action.
