The HARU project is based off of the character ?? Sadaharu from the Japanese anime series Gintama, which was directed by Shinji Takamatsu. The anime series is based on Hideaki Sorachi?s manga of the same name. Sadaharu (??Sadaharu) is a member and a pet of the Yorozuya, but is equivalent to being their mascot. Kagura usually takes care of him. He is also known asThe Savior of the Earth.
Sadaharu was originally an Inugami (aka Dog God) of destruction and attack, along with his counterpart in charge of protection and defense, Komako. They were entrusted with guarding the ?? ryuumyaku aka Dragon?s Pulse at the ?? ryuuketsu aka Dragon?s Lair on Earth. Sadaharu is famously known for his loyalty and also his love for biting people?s heads. He is arguably the closest to Kagura. She is often seen riding on Sadaharu?s back and playing with him. Because of her strength, she cannot be hurt by his strength and finds his bites as loving, allowing him to become attached to her.
