When community members write theses about FOMOEgg on the Fomo platform, creator fees buy FOMOEgg from the open market and send it permanently to the dead address (0x000000000000000000000000000000000000dEaD). Over 162 million tokens have been burned this way. Every burn is independently verifiable on chain.
Alongside the burns, the Race runs continuously: thesis writers who hold a minimum position compete for an ETH prize pot each round. 226 races have paid out 1.49+ ETH to winners, every payout on chain.
The creator fee is fixed in the PONS V2 contract. Liquidity is locked in the Uniswap v4 PoolManager. The token contract has no owner.
