Semantic Layer is bringing better incentive alignment and native scaling to dApps deployed or looking to deploy on Ethereum. Semantic Layer makes the meta transaction programmable, enabling customized MEV distribution and native scaling for protocols.
From the moment the user sends a transaction to when the transaction is included on-chain, MEV is extracted along the way. However, the current MEV distribution is highly skewed, with over 70% going to the validators, the remainder split amongst builders and searchers, and the users receiving 0%. This is not how it's supposed to be, as users are the ultimate origin of the transaction, and they should be receiving the majority of the MEV share.
