Once Earth is repopulated and living conditions due to the previous war are unsustainable the new world government decides on sending another mission to Mars this time with advanced technology and human settlers only to discover the planet is already inhabited by another species and they don?t want to share.

Season two and three will focus on the conflict widening to include an invasion of earth and the defence of the home planet by mankind.
