由專案方撰寫BitVault (BVT) is the native coin of BitVault, an independent proof-of-work Layer 1 blockchain built on the Bitcoin/DigiByte codebase. BVT is not a token and has no token contract; it exists only on the BitVault chain. The network uses 11 rotating mining algorithms (SHA256d, Scrypt, Groestl, Skein, Qubit, Equihash, Ethash, Odo, RandomX, VersaHash and KHeavyHash), so CPUs, GPUs and ASICs can all take part in mining. The target block time is 60 seconds. The block reward is 3,000 BVT plus up to a 10% bonus, and it halves every 5,259,600 blocks (about ten years). There is no hard maximum supply. Mainnet has been running since 28 August 2026, and the official launch is 7 February 2027. A one-time premine of 50,000,000,000 BVT is held in ten published cold addresses and is excluded from the circulating supply. There was no ICO or token sale. Source code, binaries and checksums are public on GitHub, and anyone can mine at the official pool, bitvaultpool.com.
