Über VargaMesh
Vom Projekt verfasstVargaMesh (VMESH) is an independent, open-source Layer-1 Proof-of-Work blockchain with its own native cryptocurrency, built on a Bitcoin-derived UTXO architecture. It uses SHA-256d, ASERT difficulty adjustment and a 120-second target block time.
Auxiliary Proof of Work (AuxPoW) has been supported since block 1, enabling compatible Bitcoin miners to merge-mine VMESH alongside BTC without splitting their SHA-256d hashrate.
Launched in September 2026 without an ICO or spendable premine, VargaMesh was initiated by Attila Varga (Varga-Tech) and developed with an open community. The project focuses on self-custody, transparent network data, independent nodes and practical blockchain applications.
The ecosystem includes:
The initial block reward is 25 VMESH, with halvings every 1,051,200 blocks and a nominal maximum supply of 52,560,000 VMESH.
VMESH/USDT spot trading is available on NestEx. As with any emerging cryptocurrency, trading involves risks and liquidity may be limited.
